Introducing Just Photo Booths: A New Chapter in Experiential Retail
If you’ve followed The Just Brand over the past few years, you know that many of our best ideas don’t begin with a grand plan. They begin quietly — in small experiments, on the floor of our Mystic store, in conversations with customers, or in the simple act of trying something new.
Just Photo Booths is one of those ideas.
And today, it officially becomes its own venture.
How It Started
In early 2024, we installed a small photo booth in our Mystic, Connecticut location. It wasn’t meant to be anything more than a fun moment for visitors — a simple way to capture a memory of a day by the water. But within the first week, something became clear: people loved it.
Families lined up. Visitors took photos before heading to the Seaport. Couples stopped in just to use it. And while we expected smiles, we didn’t expect the impact on the business: increased foot traffic, time spent in the store, new conversations, renewed interest in our brand, and a steady stream of new email subscribers.
So we built one for our Portsmouth, New Hampshire store.
The results were even stronger.
By midsummer, it was obvious that this wasn’t just a nice-to-have addition — it was becoming a core part of the in-store experience.

Today, Just Photo Booths officially spins out as its own standalone company — built within The Just Brand, but designed to serve a broader community.
